Regardless of you feel about your return to classes, I have a few recommendations for you:
1. Get a good night’s sleep–not because you need a full eight hours to function properly, but because you’ll look much better if you’re rested!
2. Eat a balanced diet and avoid the vending machines. Not because of any health consciousness, but because you’ll get addicted to carbs and one day you won’t have your Snickers money. Horrors!
3. Get one of those little magnetic mirrors for the inside of your locker door. Not so you can check your make-up between classes, but so you can see who’s sneaking up behind you…or better yet, who’s not sneaking up behind you.
4. Start each day with prayer. Not because God wants you to give your day to Him and wants to walk with you as you go to school, but because…oh, who am I kidding? That’s exactly why!
This week, on Teen Talk Radio, we’ll be talking with the Gramm family about the how’s and why’s of a homeschooling family…and why three of them are returning to a traditional school this year. Joins us Thursdays at 10pm EST.
